Syria: What Happened to the Leaders of the Revolutionaries (UNCENSORED CUT)

Description

Years after entering Syria during the early days of the 2011 uprising, a journalist sets out to find the people he met when peaceful demonstrations were beginning to transform the country. Some have fled, some remained, and others saw their lives completely reshaped by years of conflict. Through rare archive footage and deeply personal reunions, this documentary retraces the hopes of the Syrian revolution, its descent into war, and the human stories behind one of the defining crises of the 21st century.
