Why are fish getting smaller?

Description

For the past two decades, sardine and anchovy populations have been declining in the Mediterranean and the Bay of Biscay. To understand why, researchers are combining several models to simulate the interactions between plankton, fish, and their environment. What do these models reveal about the cause of this phenomenon and the future of fishing?
